Whether you are dealing with anxiety, grief, stress, burnout or feeling lost in life, I offer a calm, confidential space where you can be heard without judgement.

About me

I am an ‘integrative’ counsellor, which means that I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches which I tailor to each person’s needs. I retrained as a counsellor after a long career as an NHS health professional, working with neurodiverse and disabled children and their families. My background means that I often work with NHS staff, unpaid carers, and individuals living with illness, disability or loss. However, I enjoy working with adults of all ages living with a wide range of life’s challenges.

My experience

I have experience working for an NHS counselling department, specialist counselling organisations for unpaid family carers and NHS healthcare workers, and Cruse Bereavement Support.

My qualifications

I have a master’s degree in counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am guided by their ethical framework to offer confidential, compassionate, and respectful care.
